Choose a finish family
Solid colors, woodgrain, stone-inspired and fabric-inspired textures can guide the discussion. A fabric-inspired surface describes a visual effect, not an absorbent fabric covering. Requested custom combinations remain subject to confirmation against the proposed panel construction and available finish options.
Relate the palette to the room
Neutral palettes can coordinate with workplace or public-building interiors; woodgrain and mineral-inspired directions can support hospitality schemes. Education projects may use brighter combinations, with the design team confirming age-appropriate layout and privacy requirements separately. A color choice does not establish safety, cleanability or material performance.
Coordinate the whole cubicle
Record door, divider, front-support and visible hardware finishes together. Show where colors match or contrast and identify edge treatment or grain direction when relevant. Urinal screens and lockers need their own finish entries when included. Avoid relying on a single room illustration to specify every visible product.
Approve and identify samples
Request samples for the actual proposed construction and label the selected references clearly. Review color and texture under the intended lighting, and record the approval against the drawing revision. Confirm any availability, production or batch considerations with the order. Send the intended palette, project type and quantities to start the finish review.
